🎭 Gobble Gallop Costume Contest is Back! 🎭
Get ready to show off your creativity at the 2nd Annual First Responders Gobble Gallop 5K! Our costume contest is back and better than ever — fun, festive, and open to all participants!
👕 Contest Details:
• Participation is free with your race entry.
• Judging will take place before the race start – arrive early!
• Costumes must be family-friendly and safe for running or walking.
• No group category this year – everyone competes individually.
• You can still run or pose with friends, but only individual costumes will be judged.
🏆 Prizes:
🥇 1st Place: $50 Gift Card + Free Entry to next year’s Gobble Gallop (transferable)
🥈 2nd Place: $25 Gift Card + Free Entry to next year’s Gobble Gallop (transferable)
🥉 3rd Place: $10 Gift Card + Free Entry to next year’s Gobble Gallop (transferable)
All winners will also receive a custom Gobble Gallop Certificate, presented by the Deltona Firefighters Foundation, to celebrate their creativity and community spirit!
Winners will be announced after the race — stick around for photos, prizes, and bragging rights!

The IAFF Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health Treatment and Recovery is a one-of-a-kind addiction treatment facility specializing in PTSD for IAFF members – and IAFF members only – who are struggling with addiction, PTSD other related behavioral health challenges to receive the help they need in taking the first steps toward recovery. It is a safe haven for members to talk with other members who have faced or overcome similar challenges.
